Triage
Triage is a patient triage system for hospitals. Staff triage patients on tablets, and each hospital runs its own web app to administer and use the system.
Components
Section titled “Components”| Component | Runs on | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Tablet app | Tablets in the hospital | Triaging patients at the point of care |
| Hospital web app | Hospital’s own infrastructure | Administering the hospital’s setup and using Triage from a browser |
| Cloud platform | Kubernetes clusters in the EU and UK | Central web application shared by all hospitals |
See Architecture for how these fit together.
Working on these docs
Section titled “Working on these docs”The documentation is built with Starlight. Diagrams are written in D2 and need the d2 command installed.
Install the dependencies:
npm installPreview the site with live reload at localhost:4321:
npm run devBuild the static site into dist/:
npm run buildPages live in src/content/docs/. Add new pages to the sidebar list in astro.config.mjs.
Publishing a version
Section titled “Publishing a version”Versions are listed in the versions option of starlightVersions in astro.config.mjs. Adding a version and starting npm run dev copies the current pages into a folder named after the version, which then appears in the version switcher. The current pages are shown as Latest.
Deploying
Section titled “Deploying”Pushing to main builds the site and deploys it to the triage-documentation project on Cloudflare Pages. The workflow lives in .gitea/workflows/deploy.yml and needs the CLOUDFLARE_API_TOKEN and CLOUDFLARE_ACCOUNT_ID repository secrets.
To deploy from your machine instead, build the site and run:
npx wrangler loginnpm run deploy
